BLM IWJV Capacity Map
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Intermountain West Joint Venture (IWJV), and numerous partners are investing in people in priority landscapes to develop lasting conservation partnerships in the form of community-based conservation capacity. These positions are referred to as the Sage Capacity Team, helping to coordinate across public and private boundaries, break through bottlenecks and challenges, track projects and success, and facilitate forums that bring partners together. This application provides tools for applying weighted surveillance to detect Pseudogymnoascus destructans (Pd), the fungal agent that causes white-nose syndrome in bats. These tools include methods for designing weighted surveillance approaches for Pd detection and estimating the potential latent Pd prevalence after sampling has been completed and Pd has not been detected.
